One of the joys of living in the South Island is experiencing four very defined seasons. I adore this definition for the visual variety it brings throughout the year, and it’s a perfect guide too for the tasks that need to happen in the garden.
Each season arrives on cue around the first week of the seasonal month – it’s quite precise. Autumn is my favourite season here and is in full swing now. The symphony of colour is mesmerising…. out of this world, and I’ve been told the further south one travels, the more brilliant and vibrant the colours. I look forward to traveling south to see this for myself. For now though, here are a few images from Rowley Crescent this autumn….🍁🍁🍁
